“I had been shuffling for 3 years before working with Sabrina. Because of the pandemic, she was offering a workshop via Zoom so I was fortunate enough to take her class. It was something I always wanted to do, but felt limited because I live in Los Angeles and her classes were in Toronto. During that workshop, I immediately fell in love with her teaching style. And as my dancing had felt stale and I felt like I had plateaued, I made the decision to sign up for weekly or bi-weekly private lessons. Prior to taking Sabrina’s classes and having private lessons with her, I had taken classes with other teachers, but she is the only one I come back to regularly month after month for both workshops and private lessons.

Sabrina’s lifelong dance training allows her an unmatched understanding of body mechanics and translates that understanding to helpful body cues that have really helped elevate what I already knew. Sabrina caters her lessons based on what genre of music you like and also the style of dancing you would like to embody. But she also teaches new things that allow one to have a new spark in different styles of dance.

Taking lessons with Sabrina has been the best gift I have given myself, and I foresee continuing to grow and develop under her guidance. Her teachings have allowed me the confidence and ability to fully express myself in my movements, and I will be forever grateful for that.”

“I discovered shuffling almost over a year ago and became obsessed with it! I had zero dance background and was looking for someone to help me achieve my shuffling goals. I came across Rebelindustry in late May, and since then, I have not stopped shuffling.

What I love about Sabrina is how passionate she is, and the dedication she puts behind every single student of hers. She is exceptionally knowledgeable and constantly keeps educating herself about shuffling from various shufflers across the world, including Mark Tore (who is a very well known shuffler and one of my favourites). Sabrina is hands down one of the best dance instructors and choreographers I know!”

“I’m 45, have no previous dance experience and started private online lessons with Sabrina Caputi about 2 months ago. I had a base of running man, t step and a few other moves that I had learned on my own.

I started my shuffle journey with her in the style of Melbourne shuffle with emphasis on the correct execution of the running man, T step, rocking combined with spins and glides. Sabrina’s approach to teaching goes beyond just showing you some steps, she gives you the ability to appreciate and better understand the art of dancing and its technique. She has endless patience and a very motivating way to teach and push you forward. She is so encouraging and enthusiastic and you can tell that she loves sharing her extensive knowledge with her pupils.

She takes time to really explain technique and the feel of each movement. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending her as an excellent teacher to anyone, any level and age.”

“Fascinated by shuffling a year ago after an Ibiza trip and discovered Rebel from other international shuffler’s recommendations on IG. Rebel worked closely with me weekly one on one. Her passion and ease of teaching fueled my addiction to learn more and more. Anyone wanting to learn from the best I recommend Rebel in a heartbeat not only because she has her teaching system and logistics concrete but more so for her sincere drive to coach your development, stemming from care, enthusiasm and love for shuffling. A great teacher and I consider her a friend. Thank you Rebel!”

“I started following Sabrina a year or so into her shuffling, watching her tutorials and videos which inspired me to learn. For years I tried to teach myself, and ended up putting it off for a bit because every time I would try to level up, I felt like I couldn't do it. Almost a year ago, I decided to start taking lessons with Sabrina. Having the opportunity to learn from Sabrina 1-on-1 has been such a pleasure, and has really helped me level up into the advanced space! It has really made a difference in my life as shuffling is now my #1 hobby.

Sabrina is a phenomenal teacher and amazing person! She really takes the time to ensure you understand each and every move. She's incredibly patient and has a way of explaining so that you can easily follow along. She knows all styles of shuffling so if you see a move you want to learn on Instagram or TikTok, she can literally break it down for you and teach it like she has been doing it forever. She has become an amazing mentor and friend to me. If you want to learn from scratch, level up or just learn some amazing choreos/combos, Sabrina is definitely your girl! :)”

“My experience being educated by Sabrina has been two-fold... extremely positive and beneficial with my OWN shuffling... but also extremely useful and concise information that I can pass down to my own shuffle students!

With my own shuffling: where do I even begin! Sabrina and I decided to do our first collab last year & make the entire choreo over zoom. The amount I learned in that session ALONE was crazy! When we got together to rehearse in person before shooting, I could immediately feel more control in my movements, and she taught me more about rocking that day than I had ever learned in my shuffle journey!

Fast forward a couple months and I decide to dive deeper into Melbourne style shuffling for 2 reasons -- to continue enhancing my own technique & control, as well as taking the responsibility as an educator to share this knowledge of Melbourne with my own students and have them appreciate the history of shuffling!

Sabrina's way of explaining both movements and history of shuffling is clear, easily digestible, and FUN. Whether it's an intentional education session, or even just a collaboration with her, I always leave feeling inspired, stronger, and wanting to tackle more!

Thank you, Sabrina for really introducing me to the world of Melbourne and sharing your knowledge with me. Both myself + my students appreciate it more than you know! <333”

“I’ve been shuffling for over 2 years but have danced styles like ballet, jazz and hip hop since I was 4. Sabrina is an incredible instructor who brings her technical dance knowledge into shuffling and really makes sure her students leave her class understanding the proper technique and history of the dance. She clearly communicates and demonstrates the foundations of what we’re going to learn in the class and makes sure you have a proper understanding before progressing.

I’ve taken 1:1 lessons with her as well where she has helped me improve choreography and ensure I have a flow when combining moves together. Her feedback is extremely helpful and has helped me progress in my shuffle journey! I will definitely be taking more of Sabrina’s classes and recommend those who want to improve their shuffling to do so as well!”

“At the age of 20, I discovered shuffle dance at college, but to be honest, it was very exhausting and difficult to do. So, I quickly gave up. 9 years later, in July 2018, on YouTube, I watched a shuffle compilation from Km Music and found that very entertaining and the shufflers were good too. On that list, channels were named in the description. One of those videos was ''Rebelindustry - Touch it''. She was also my favourite dancer in this compilation. So, I went to Rebelindustry's channel and it was at that moment I made the best decision: I discovered who was Sabrina aka Rebel.

From all her videos, I was so impressed every single time by her flow and energy and how she was feeling the music. So at the end of July 2018, I followed Sabrina on Instagram to see how inspiring she was. Also, from my side, I've decided to dive into shuffle again and this time, with structure. I watched many tutorials of different shufflers; I was starting to get familiar with the biggest names and obviously, following Sabrina's journey. From month to month, I was progressing even if I was sweating like a pig for doing running man and t-step at 75 BPM! I was also interacting with Sabrina on her posts and discovered how nice, humble and kind she was!

One day, in February 2020, Sabrina announced she was coming to Montreal for a group workshop on March 7th!! Awesome!!! She DMed me to let me know she was coming to Montreal! And I bought my ticket! To be honest, I was so stressed out because it was the first shuffle workshop I was going to, but also I've never excepted to meet in person someone I've been following on Instagram for almost 2 years at this moment. But the moment she said Hi to me for the first time, I was totally stunned by how nice she was not only as a shuffle instructor but also as a person!

And it also gave me a boost to get really into shuffle by having 3-5 sessions a week. Even with the pandemic, I've watched every online workshop on Insta or Groovestyles she was offering! Now, I can say it: Sabrina is an amazing person inside and out! Really inspiring; she always takes time with everyone to give the best advice to getting better at shuffle! Even after what I've been through, I can say it: Sabrina is my inspiration, my shuffle mentor and (even if we only met once) my friend! :)

Thank you for everything! It's a real privilege to know people like you!”

“It has been such a great pleasure and honor working with Sabrina. You can say I am one of those people that are very careful and not fond of injuries. She has a way of properly explaining how to execute movements and transitioning out of them seamlessly. She takes time building foundation which I believe is very important. And most importantly, she helped me build my confidence dancing publicly and to share my craft the way I desire to. Her knowledge in shuffling/dancing is so profound yet she carries a humble personality. That is a rare combination.”

“Even with zero dancing background, in a matter of just 4 months of both private lessons and group workshops I am able to shuffle with confidence thanks to Rebel.

She teaches you in a progressive step by step process based on your experience and current skills developed overtime. An amazing instructor who focuses very closely and personally on an individual level.

Driven by love and passion for dancing, Rebel is extremely motivating by pushing us to be the best we can be no matter what we do, and always spreading positive vibes and energy. I am extremely glad to have her as part of my shuffling journey and life as a whole! Looking forward to keep learning from one of the best in the industry.

You will never regret learning from Rebel! ”

“Sabrina is an incredible dancer, instructor and mentor. Her step-by-step process for learning how to shuffle is amazing, even if you are a beginner with zero dance background. Personally, I had no idea what a T-Step was 2 months ago and now I am able to ROCK with confidence!!!

Her encouragement and affirmations make for a very a positive learning environment, both in class and at her workshops. I would highly recommend Rebel to anyone interested in learning how to shuffle!”
