About Me
It all started at the age of 2…
when I found joy in the ability to dance. It has always given me a way to express myself when words can't. Dancing has always provided me with an outlet for release and a creative canvas in the form of body and movement. The ability to share what I love with all of you brings me great joy. Shuffling has become so much more than just a hobby, but ultimately a way to stay in touch with a part of my soul.
I have been shuffling since September 2015. This process is never ending, and I have met so many amazing people on my journey as I continue to learn and grow. I try to continuously look for new avenues to pursue and develop as any dancer should. I am always working on different projects, whether it be a collaboration or my own personal creative vision. Not only am I well-versed in shuffling but I have over 18 years of professional and competitive dance experience. This ranges from ballet, contemporary, jazz, modern, hip hop and more.
Learning in our lives is the most important things we can do. As a separate achievement from dancing I have an Honours bachelor degree from University of Toronto and a Project Management certification from Ryerson University. No matter what goals I am pursuing in life, dancing has always been there as a motivational athletic, a disciplined art, and most importantly an expressive outlet. It has taught me values and given me more than I could have ever imagined.
It gives me great pride to be able to give back what I have gained. People reach out to me all the time to share that I inspired them to start their own journey through shuffling. I'm so happy that many others share the love that I have for dancing, and that so many people are choosing to stay active and creative.
I have been teaching shuffling for over 4 years, offering both Private Lessons and Group Workshops in Toronto and internationally online. I also love working with like minded creatives on a multitude of projects. I am always open to new collaborations so feel free to reach out and I will be sure to get back to you.
